Terms of Use
Last updated: March 10, 2026
These Terms of Use explain the key rules, limits, and legal conditions that apply when you access or use SmartStock. They are written as a practical summary for users and should be read together with the disclosures and notices shown elsewhere in the product.
Access and Account
Acceptance
By using SmartStock, you agree to these Terms of Use, our privacy disclosures, and any additional notices shown in the product.
Eligibility & Age Requirement
You may use SmartStock only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are below the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, maintaining accurate account information, and all activity that occurs through your account.
Permitted Use
SmartStock is provided for your personal, non-exclusive, revocable use. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in violation of applicable law.
Content, Data, and Platform Use
Intellectual Property
SmartStock, including its branding, interface, content selection, software, scores, and design elements, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for limited personal use expressly allowed by these terms, you may not reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly distribute SmartStock content without permission.
Automated Access & Scraping
You may not use bots, scripts, scrapers, crawlers, browser automation, bulk extraction tools, or similar methods to access, monitor, copy, or collect SmartStock content or market data unless we clearly authorize that use in writing.
Data & Availability
Quotes, market-session labels, analytics, and AI insights are provided for informational purposes only. They may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or changed without notice.
Data Use & Redistribution
Market data, scores, analysis text, and other SmartStock content may be subject to third-party rights and license limits. You may not copy, scrape, republish, redistribute, or commercially use this content except where clearly permitted.
Third-Party Content & Links
SmartStock may display or rely on content, data, tools, or links from third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, products, services, or content, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
Risk, Warranty, and Liability
Investment Risk Disclaimer
SmartStock does not provide personalized investment advice, recommendations, or fiduciary services. You make all investment decisions independently and should consider consulting a qualified advisor where appropriate.
No Warranty
SmartStock is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, uptime, uninterrupted access, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the service will be error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartStock and its operators are not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, delayed decisions, lost profits, data issues, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes, Rights, and Contact
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update SmartStock, suspend features, or revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updates take effect means you accept the revised terms.
Termination & Account Closure
We may suspend or terminate access to SmartStock, or limit certain features, if we believe there is misuse, security risk, legal exposure, or a violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time, and account deletion requests remain subject to our operational and legal retention requirements.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to SmartStock's operating entity and applicable consumer protection rules. Before starting a formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws that apply where you live. If local law gives you stronger protections, those protections continue to apply to the extent required by law.
General Terms
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining sections continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms, together with related notices referenced here, form the agreement between you and SmartStock regarding your use of the service.
